Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. Her most well-known work is the roles she played in the movie Cowboys & Aliens. Abigail Leigh Spencer - an American actress whose work includes television and film - is a TV star. She gained fame for the roles she portrayed in the drama show Rectify. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. The actress was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for the most outstanding female newcomer. Her main role was guest roles during the course of several years. Her role as Dr. Erin Jameson on the television series Hawthorne earned her praise. Her gorgeous looks and stunning appearance, along with her amazing acting skills helped to slowly grow a fanbase. Her debut film came at about twenty when she played the role of a girl in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film in which she was a part of. Her nomination was to the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the film Beautiful Now'. Her most recent appearance on TV is in the character of the history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV series Timeless. Spencer is nominated for Teen Choice Award after her appearance on the show was highly praised by the viewers and critics.
