Alison Doody was born in Dublin in Ireland on November 11, 1966. She is a model as well an Irish actress. Following her debut in a feature film by playing a minor role in the Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to play Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte as Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. A photographer approached Doody. Doody took up modelling that eventually led to the profession of commercial modeling. Doody stringently avoided glamour and nude work a clause which was extended to her acting career.
